Program Details:
St. Lucy's Home was established in 1983 to provide shelter for
the homeless and the street people of Castries, of all races and
creeds. Since then it has served as a home and rehabilitation
centre for drug-addicts, alcoholics, ex-convicts and other
marginalized of society. The Home houses between 40 - 45
residents (at any one time, depending on the death rate), some of
whom are elderly and bed-ridden, while others are younger, but
ravaged by alcohol or substance-abuse.
