Program Details:
Reach International is a Canadian based charity that I founded
upon returning from St. Lucia in 1998. I began by sponsoring
children for education and health in the Ciceron area. To date we
have 20 children sponsored. Two years ago we purchased the "Friendly
Society" building in Ciceron and began renovations. Our hope is to
open it as soon as possible to act as a community centre. We are
calling it "Canada House". We intend to offer many programs there as
well as using it as our main distribution centre for clothing, food
and medical supply distribution. We are currently seeking funding
from CIDA in order to expand the building, hire the staff and begin
operation. We also support a number of poverty reduction initiatives
in Canada as well. |
